Banke Bihari Ji

Banke Bihari Temple Vrindavan epitomizes the purest form of worship to the Lord Krishna as its idol which was discovered from Nidhivan by Swami Haridas of the Nimbarka Sampradaya. Swami Haridas is the Guru of Tansen, the musical maestro who had adorned the court of the Mughal emperor, Akbar, as one of the Nine Ratnas or Nine Precious Gem. The idol had been discovered in 16th century while it was sanctified in its sanctum sanctorum in the temple proper in 1864. For sometime Banke Bihari was worshipped on his own in the temple and then later on a small idol of Radha Rani was added to the cameo and they are seen together till today in all appearances within and outside the temple precincts.

In a series of events, the most noteworthy is the discovery of sweet water well which was dug in a land with a history of having only saline water and scarce water supply. This discovery of fresh water was fonly possible by the grace of Lord Krishna

Prem Mandir

Prem Mandir (lit. The Temple of Divine Love) is a Hindu temple in Vrindavan, Mathura, India. It is maintained by Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, an international non-profit, educational, spiritual, a charitable trust. The complex is on a 55-acre site on the outskirts of Vrindavan and is dedicated to Lord Radha Krishna and Sita Ram, Radha Krishna on the first level, and Sita Ram on the second level. The temple structure was established by the fifth Jagadguru, Kripalu Maharaj. Figures of Shri Krishna and his followers depicting important events surrounding the Lord’s existence cover the main temple. Construction began in January 2001 and the inauguration ceremony took place from 15 February to 17 February 2012. The temple was opened to the public on 17 February.

Dwarkadhish Mandir

A Divine Abode in Mathura - Mathura, the land of Lord Krishna, is known for its religious and spiritual significance. About The Place: The main draw for tourists coming to Dwarka, the Dwarkadhish Temple (Jagat Mandir), is believed to have been established more than 2500 years ago by Lord Krishna’s great grandson, Vajranabh. The ancient temple has been renovated several times, especially leaving imprints of 16th and 19th centuries. The temple stands on a small hill accessed by 50 plus steps, with heavily sculptured walls that cocoon the sanctum with the main Krishna idol. Around the complex lie other smaller shrines. The walls have intricately carved mythical characters and legends. The impressive 43 m high spire is topped with a flag made from 52 yards of cloth that flutters in the soft breeze from the Arabian Sea behind the temple. There are two doors (swarg and moksh) for the entry and exit of the temple. A bridge called Sudama Setu (7am–1pm, 4–7.30pm) at the base of the temple takes one across the Gomti creek towards the beach.

Radha Raman Temple

The defining moment in the history of the temple is associated with a journey Gopala Bhatta Goswami.The temple is exquisitely crafted and one of the most revered temples in Vrindavan, especially by the followers of Gaudiya Vaishnavism. It houses the original shaligram deity of Krishna alongside Radharani. Curtain is drawn across the idol in every two minutes as it is believed that if the devotees continuously look at the idol then Banke Bihari is likely to follow the most devoted worshipper to their homesThe Sanskrit texts, Brahma Vaivarta Purana and the Garga Samhita mention that Krishna secretly married Radha in the presence of Brahma in the Bhandirvan forest before leaving Vrindavan. Why Famouse the story of Radha Raman Radharaman, according to Shri Gopal Bhatta Goswami, is the incarnation of Radha. As a result, there is no Radha deity in Vrindavan. Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, he believed, took the form of Radha Raman. He believed Radha Raman was Radha, who was identical to Krishna.

Nidhivan

Rangji Temple

Unveil the beauty of Rangji Temple in Vrindavan. Dedicated to Saint Andal, a renowned devotee of Lord Vishnu,Devoted to lord Vaikuntha Venkatesh, the new Rangji temple is amongst the most ancient temples in all of Pushkar. The temple is acknowledged for its mesmerizing architectural design including the high rising Gopuram, a composition which is common amongst several South Indian temples followed by an enormous entrance.
